BEFORE YOU TAKE THE NEXT STEP

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Have a question about your specific situation? Talk with BWI.

Can we talk before I buy the aircraft?

Yes. Tell us which PA-46 you’re considering, your expected purchase timing and your pilot experience. Starting early gives you time to discuss potential coverage and training requirements before delivery.

What if I’m moving from piston to turbine?

Share your current flying experience and transition-training plans. We can discuss how underwriters may evaluate your experience and what information they’ll need. Pilot approval and training requirements depend on the insurer and your specific risk.

Can you review my coverage at renewal?

Yes. Bring your current policy, renewal date, updated aircraft value and pilot information. We can discuss your coverage priorities and available options. Any change of broker or carrier should be coordinated before your current coverage ends.

What information do I need for a quote?

Your aircraft’s year, model, registration and value; where it’s based and how it’s used; each pilot’s qualifications, experience and training; and your requested limits and start date. If you’re still choosing an aircraft, tell us what you know so far.

Can an aircraft manager request a quote?

Yes. Let us know your role, the aircraft owner or entity, the pilots who will fly it and the intended operation. We’ll help identify the information and authorizations needed to move the quote forward.
