Cessna 210 questions answered
These answers provide general background and links to primary references. For operating decisions, use the current approved documents for your exact aircraft and qualified instruction. Insurance terms require a quote for your aircraft and operation. Request a quote for your aircraft; terms, availability and premiums depend on the insurer and your details.
What is the range of a Cessna 210?

There is no single range figure for every Cessna 210. Use the performance information for the exact model, fuel installation and aircraft configuration, accounting for the planned loading, weather and reserves. Textron flight documents and the FAA performance guidance are better starting points than an unqualified model-wide mileage figure.
Is the Cessna 210 still in production?
The Cessna 210 is not listed in Textron's current Cessna piston lineup. For a 210 purchase, evaluate the individual aircraft and its records. Current catalog availability is separate from the aircraft's historical production decisions.
How far can a Cessna 210 fly on my planned trip?
Start with the specific aircraft's approved flight information, then calculate the trip using the actual fuel, loading and forecast conditions. A generic maximum range is not a usable trip-distance allowance. Work through the aircraft's performance charts and required reserves with a qualified pilot or instructor. See FAA aircraft performance guidance.
Which current Cessna aircraft can I compare with the 210?
The Cessna Turbo Stationair HD is one current six-seat piston option to research. It is a different aircraft, so compare the configuration, payload, performance and intended mission rather than treating it as an interchangeable 210 replacement.
How much does a Cessna 210 cost?
There is no single purchase price for every Cessna 210. Ask for current listings and an aircraft-specific appraisal or pre-purchase assessment, considering condition, equipment and maintenance records. The purchase price and requested insurance value should be discussed for the particular aircraft; request a separate insurance quote from BWI.
Is a Cessna 210 pressurized?
The family includes pressurized P210N and P210R models; ordinary 210 and turbocharged T210 designations should not be assumed to mean pressurized. The New Zealand CAA type-acceptance report identifies P210N and P210R as Pressurized Centurion models. Confirm the exact aircraft configuration and use its current approved documents.
