AUVSI membership is perfect for government, industry and academia pros who are committed to fostering, developing and promoting unmanned systems and robotics technologies. Our members support the commercial, civil and defense sectors.
Advocating for the expansion of safe, responsible operation of drones/UAS in the National Airspace System (NAS), AUVSI was instrumental in the release of the FAA Part 107 regulation. As the number of certificated remote pilots continues to grow, AUVSI works to provide a forum with the FAA to discuss expansion of regulation, challenges with existing protocols, and a practical level of training to complement the Part 107 knowledge exam through the AUVSI Remote Pilots Council and Trusted Operator Program (TOP).
