About EAA Airventure
When the event began nearly 70 years ago, EAA AirVenture started as a small gathering of aircraft and aviators. Since then, it has grown into a grand, weeklong gathering known as the World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration®. The week-long event spans the entire spectrum of aviation and attracts 10,000 airplanes each year. More than 500,000 aviation enthusiasts attend the event.
The convention grounds have seen many visitor enhancements implemented and exhibit areas expand to retain the fly-in’s world-class status. Today, EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is an international gathering place for aviation enthusiasts.
There’s something for everyone at this event. An AirVenture participant can study the latest aircraft and innovations, discover new ideas and techniques from the more than 1,000 forums and workshops, see aviation’s top personalities, or just talk airplanes with people from around the world.
