Piper Navajo Insurance Cost guide
The guide below explains what to review when requesting and comparing a quote. No unverified current premium range is published here. Request a quote for your aircraft; terms, availability and premiums depend on the insurer and your details.
Reviewed October 28, 2026.
Piper Navajo insurance cost should be based on the particular aircraft, pilots and work involved. The historical premium table has been retired and is not presented as a current rate for every Navajo operation.
Is there a current premium range?
This page does not publish a verified current premium range. Request a written proposal for your aircraft, pilots, use and requested coverage. An older price, an offer for another owner or a different aircraft, and a percentage of aircraft value are not substitutes for your own quote.
Describe the variant and proposed operating work
Provide the registration, exact model, year, engine, equipment and proposed insured value. Explain the aircraft’s configuration, modifications and any planned equipment changes that may affect the quote.
Describe passenger, cargo, personal or business use, operating areas and insured parties. Include any contractual requirements and ask BWI to confirm the activities and conditions addressed in the proposal.
Supply ratings, relevant multi-engine and make-and-model experience, recent flying, training and loss history. Ask about pilot and crew approval, transition training and recurrent requirements. Old hour-based criteria are not current approval terms.
Compare the proposed coverage and annual cost
Compare proposals for the same aircraft configuration, pilots and operation. Review differences in physical-damage coverage, liability, deductibles, approved use and training alongside annual premiums.
Read the total liability limit and any passenger sublimit together. Check the physical-damage coverage basis, insured value and deductibles. Ask BWI to explain defense provisions, exclusions, endorsements and any separate exposures that the aircraft policy does not address. A short coverage example cannot determine payment for a particular loss.
Compare full annual premiums for equivalent policy periods. Identify fees, installment payments and financing charges separately. A lower payment amount does not necessarily mean a lower annual cost or equivalent coverage.
Request your own Piper Navajo quote
Have your aircraft details, proposed value, pilot experience, current coverage and intended use ready. Confirm the proposed start date and any outstanding requirements before relying on the coverage.
Request an insurance quote, call 800-666-4359 or email [email protected]. Requesting a quote does not bind coverage. Coverage is not effective until confirmed in writing.
