The program was created by Bill White, founder of BWI, who recognized that insurance premiums for 180/185 models were inflated due to their configuration. After his collaborative efforts with COMAV (which was later assumed by AIG), Bill developed the Cessna 180/185 program tailored specifically for 180/185 owners and pilots. The program ran for 40+ years. Through the diligent efforts of Bill, Matt White, current owner and CEO of BWI, Kristen Suarez, Executive Manager, Alicia Oliver, Cessna 180/185 Program Manager, and the team at Global Aerospace, a leading Aviation Insurance Company, we have been able to create a program that will continue to help Cessna 180/185 owners and pilots.
